Description
There are two statues in front of the old Cleveland Public Library that I Photoshop'ed together, as they are really pretty far apart. I just think they're cool. The one statue is holding what appears to be a submarine or ship, while her other arm rests upon the world. At her feet sits a young girl, but I can't tell what it is she has in her hand. It almost seems as if there was something there, but now it's gone. Sitting on the other side of the woman is a man holding some type of disc to his side, as if protecting it from some outside threat. The second statue is a woman with a tablet, looking very regal atop her throne, cape blowing in the wind, with a man bowing in a sorrowful pose as if begging for forgiveness, possibly chained, to one side, and a man or woman and child on the other. I say man or woman, because you can't really tell which it is with the head down. I wish I knew what they were supposed to represent, but, alas. . .I don't. It seems so justice-like, however, thus the name. Thanks for looking!
